## 2.4.1

SurrealDB 2.4.1 reports how much memory RocksDB is using, so you can watch its block cache, table readers and write buffers alongside the rest of your telemetry.

A 2.4.0 datastore upgrades in place, and there are no SurrealQL changes.

## Improvements

- `[Storage]` **RocksDB memory usage is exported over OpenTelemetry.** With `SURREAL_TELEMETRY_PROVIDER=otlp`, a RocksDB instance now reports four gauges: `rocksdb.block_cache_usage`, `rocksdb.block_cache_pinned_usage`, `rocksdb.estimate_table_readers_mem` and `rocksdb.cur_size_all_mem_tables`.
