# Every system holds a piece. The ontology holds the answer.

## The ontology

The ring, its colour and whether it is solid, dashed or dotted, is the business domain. Source systems are deliberately not colour-coded: filter by one to see how little of the picture any single system holds on its own. Click any entity for its fields, their provenance, and the SurrealQL that defines it.

## What the ontology unlocks

Each of these is one query against the ontology. Select one to light up the exact subgraph it traverses, and to see what it would cost to answer without one.

## How it is assembled

Eight systems land in one database. Hover a source to light up the entities and relations it actually feeds in the graph above. The largest of them carries under a third of the ontology.
